Children and the Christmas Story

Dr. Paul Brown sent two humorous stories concerning children and Christmas.An elementary teacher gave each of her little pupils the assignment of drawing a picture related to Christmas. One little boy’s picture showed Joseph, Mary, and the newborn Christ child flying in an open cockpit airplane. But there was also another person in the plane, and the teacher asked, “Who is that?”The little boy answered, “That’s Pontius the pilot!”A second story mentioned Mary and the Christ-child.Mary, and the newborn Christ lying in the manger. Nearby were the animals, and overhead were the stars. But then, off just to the right of the manger was another person; a very rotund man. The teacher asked, “Who is that?” and the little boy responded, “That’s Round John Virgin.”
