Fellowship

FellowshipJohn 14:16, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.” NKJVMy dad passed away in 1989. There are days that I miss him terribly. There are moments that I would like to sit down and talk with him. My brother lives in a large city in another state. There are days I would like to spend with him just being brothers. Sometimes I would like to sit down with some of God’s great men. Then I think about all the people I have in my life and the fellowship we have together. The most delightful fellowship to think about is the fellowship I have with my Lord.The believer is blessed beyond compare. We have the glorious privilege to spend every moment of our lives in God's presence. We have the distinct opportunity that no other group in history has had. We have God living inside our lives. He is with us constantly. He never leaves. His influence and involvement are the most valuable part of our lives.Do you need fellowship? We all have moments of loneliness. We have those times that we need a dear friend. Let the Lord be your comfort today. He loves us to need Him. When we cry out to Him we honor and glorify Him. Let Jesus be your friend today.
