Where's the Fire?Revelation 3:16, "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth." NKJVHave you ever heard the expression "the fire has gone out?" Sometimes people apply that term to their job. Some use this language in reference to their marriage. The phrase simply means that one loses heart in the ongoing struggles of life, whatever the situation. It is easy to lose heart in the Christian life. A few failures, a few setbacks, or a few heartaches can cause us to lose our fire. Our love for Christ is still flickering but the fire that once roared in us is now just a small flame. The Lord doesn't want us to lose our fire. He wants us to live in the fire. So, today, if your flame is low, do something about it. Start talking to the Lord again. Pick up His promises and believe them again. Many people will feel your heat. "One failure does not make a person a failure; one success does not make a person a success."
