Jeremiah 31:9, "They shall come with weeping, And with supplications I will lead them. I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters, In a straight way in which they shall not stumble; For I am a Father to Israel, And Ephraim is My firstborn." NKJVAre you a slow driver? My girls think that I am. The other day I got behind a log truck. Believe it or not, the log truck slowed me down. There was no place to pass. All I could see was an ugly pile of logs. This lasted a while. It wasn't a pretty site and I wasn't a pleasant person. Finally, the truck turned off the highway and I was on my way again.Life is like traveling down a highway. Sometimes things block us from moving on. It may be a big log truck or a small animal. Sometimes a big event, a big sin, or a big problem pops up in our way. Sometimes it is a small incident or small mistake that we cannot get over. Michael Eisner says "One bad dot will not ruin your painting, fix it and move on."God never intended for us to live in defeat. He has made forgiveness and cleansing a vital part of our lives. Jesus died on the cross so sin and failure would not block us from His fellowship. He also makes provision for us when we sin. He wants us to confess and move on. Don't let the sins, big or small, of the past block you from a clear road of victory. Don't let problems slow you down. Give them to God and pass by them.Is something blocking your road of victory? Deal with it today. God has all the forgiveness you need. He has all the clear direction you need. Call on Him today. Let Him take the steering wheel of your life and watch the trip become a blessed one.Buckle up!!think on these thingsDavid HammondsSardis Baptist ChurchPalmetto, Georgia
