Dr. Mark Wood is senior pastor of First Baptist Church Fultondale, Alabama. Dr. Wood is a native of Carrollton , Georgia . He was educated at the University of West Georgia , The Baptist College of Florida, Master's Divinity School , Master's Graduate School of Divinity, and Slidell Baptist Seminary. He holds a B.A., M.Min., and a D.Th. from these institutions.
Dr. Wood serves as professor at Covington Theological Seminary, Andalusia Extension.
His motto is "Touching lives through the Word." He has led several foreign mission trips to carry the gospel to the un-reached people. Mark is married to Cindy and they have four children.
Dr. Wood has written a biblically based eight-step recovery program simply titled "ARISE." "ARISE" is an acronym that stands for Addiction Recovery In Spiritual Excellence.
