Biography of LCDR Casey Woods

Casey Woods was born in 1971 to Jack and Judy Woods in Coffeyville, KS. He graduated from Ninnekah High School in Oklahoma in 1990 and enlisted in the Marine Corps. LCDR Woods served four years in the Marines and is a combat veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After being honorably discharged from the Marines LCDR Woods attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City where he earned a Navy Scholarship and graduated with a Batchelor of Liberal Arts in 1997. He attended Officer Candidate School in Pensacola Florida where he went to flight school and earned his wings of gold as a Naval Flight Officer in 1999. He has served in numerous flying squadrons, as part of ship's company on the USS ENTERPRISE, and is a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College where he has earned a Masters in Military Operational Art and Science.

LCDR Woods is currently a student a Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and is studying for a Masters in Theological Studies with an emphasis in Christian Leadership. LCDR Woods attends the base chapel with his wife Monika of seventeen years and their three children Grant, Graham, and Grace. He continues to study God's word and serve as a Christian leader in the United States Navy.
