Dr. Mark Sterling serves as pastor of Curtis Baptist Church, Augusta, Georgia.
He was formerly the consultant for Prayer and Spiritual Awakening in the Georgia Baptist Convention. He and his wife Michelle, have three children, Joshua, Hannah, and Elizabeth.
Dr. Sterling is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed his Doctorate of Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2006. Dr. Sterling is the author of "Walking With God Through Prayer," which grew from his devotion to prayer. The book has now been translated into a Spanish version. He served in the pastorate for nine years before coming to the Georgia Baptist Convention in 2003.
