James H. Cook, Jr. is Pastor of Victory Baptist Church, Douglasville, GA (www.LoveMyVBC.com) where he has served since October 2008. He was called into the Pastoral Ministry in 1983 and has served as Pastoral Intern at Ames Boulevard Baptist Church, Marrero, LA.; and Pastor at White's Chapel Baptist Church, Trussville, AL.; Talbotton Baptist Church, Talbotton, GA.; and New Canaan Baptist Church, Dallas, GA.

James graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with an Associate in Pastoral Ministries Degree in 1985. He has served as Moderator of the Tallapoosa Baptist Association and preached the Doctrinal Sermon at the West Metro [Atlanta] Baptist Association. He has served on the Credentials Committee of the West Metro Baptist Association and as co-Chairman of the Credentials Committee of the Georgia Baptist Convention.
