Rev. Bruce Willis is Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Ashland, Alabama where he has served since 1999. He has previously served churches in Mississippi, Louisiana, as well as Alabama. He has served for twenty-five years in active Southern Baptist life and ministry.
He earned an A.A. from Alexander City State Junior College Alexander City, Alabama in 1978 and a B.A. from Samford University Birmingham, Alabama in 1980 (both with honors). He earned the Master of Divinity in 1982 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary New Orleans, Louisiana. Currently, he is enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia.
Bruce is married to the former Kathy Caldwell and they have three adult children, a son and two daughters.
