Malachi 3:6, "For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob." NKJV
Are you a moody person? Do you know someone who is moody? Most of us experience some type of mood swings. Mood swings can be traced to serious medical problems, but an occasional "blue" mood is common. Sometimes the people at work produce a bad mood. Sometimes the loved ones at home produce a bad mood. Sometimes even the people at church can produce a bad mood. Let's be honest, we all can have a bad mood, anywhere, anytime.
Aren't you glad God is not like us in this respect. He never has a bad mood. God is not moody. He doesn't change every time you turn around. He stays the same all the time. God has remained consistent in His holiness, His love, and His care for us. Dr. Jerry Falwell said, "God did not wake up this morning and need a nerve pill."
Today, you may be facing some stormy weather in your life. You may be struggling with some sort of bad mood. You may encounter someone who is in a bad mood. Remember God never changes. Sometimes He corrects us, sometimes He chastens us, sometimes He changes circumstances and situations; but He never changes His thoughts about us. He will never let you down. Call on Him today. Let Him bring a good mood to your heart.
