What's In Your Heart?
Proverbs 23:7, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. "Eat and drink!" he says to you, But his heart is not with you.” NKJV
There is a credit card commercial that asks the question, "What's in your wallet?" The idea, of course, is to make you attracted to their credit card.
The question to be asked of believers is, "What's in your heart?" As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. What needs to be in the heart of the believer is the love of God, the will of God, and love for fellowman. Sad to say, the world does not see that in some believers. They are "turned off" by what they see in the heart of those believers.
What's in your heart today? Examine your thoughts and your actions. They reveal what is in the heart. If your heart has grown cold and callous, call on the Savior. He has a way of putting the right things in our hearts.
