Joshua 1:7, "Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go." NKJV
People always amaze me. So many people push their limitations. A friend grew up in a very poor family. The future for this person was bleak to say the least. No vision. No dreams. No real prospect for ever making a life of purpose and distinction. My friend stepped over the obstacles and became a very successful person. A zinger rings this truth. "Success it to be measured not so much by the position one has reached in life as the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed ." (Zingers, p. 301)
God's desire for us is to be successful in our Christian walk. The obstacles we face should simply make us stronger in the faith. Believers are never guaranteed a life free from trouble. We are promised, however, that in our struggles He is with us. He will guide us through. His will is that we run the race with success.
Have you stumbled? Have you let the circumstances of life bring a halt to your Christian success record. Call on the Savior. He will pick you up and put you back in the race. Maybe you have encountered obstacles and God has given you victory. Rejoice in the grace of our Lord. He is bringing success into your life. Praise Him and enjoy the victory.
Have a dream, tell a dream, do a dream!!
