Rough Spots
Psalm 30:5, "For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." NKJV
Sandra and I were traveling down a country road. We crossed a bridge and the road became very rough. The pavement was cracked and broken. Sandra even commented on the detoration of the road. The water had flooded and caused the road damage. Thankfully, the rough area was small and the road again became soomth.
Every life has its share of rough spots. For the believer the rough spots only mean that victory is not far away. Jesus never promised freedom from trouble. He only promised that He would be with us in the rough spots.
If you have encountered a rough spot, take courage. God is with you each step. Ask Him to be your Guide through this momentary trouble. His hand will take your hand and lead you through.
"Each step I take my Savior goes before me and with His loving Hand He leads the way"
