Matthew19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible , but with God all things are possible." NKJV
A good friend of mine is a car mechanic. He is a great Christian, but he is skeptical of certain anecdotes that people offer when it comes to the miraculous. He heard a preacher tell that one time he ran out of gas and the car kept going for miles. My mechanic friend just cannot believe that story is true. He has actually lost confidence in the preacher for telling the story. If we examined our own hearts we would probably find some skepticism when we hear such stories. We are like the little boy in this story.
Nine-year-old Joey, was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sunday school. "Well, Mom, our teacher told us how God sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. When he got to the Red Sea, he had his army build a pontoon bridge and all the people walked across safely. Then, he radioed headquarters for reinforcements. They sent bombers to blow up the bridge and all the Israelites were saved."
"Now, Joey, is that really what your teacher taught you?" his mother asked.

Our verse today is clear. What is impossible to us is not impossible to God. Even when we are skeptical about certain stories that defy logic.
If you are facing an impossible situation, don't let your heart follow logic. God is able to do above what we ask or think. Let God take over your burden and watch Him pull off a miracle that you will talk about forever. He delights in that. Call on Him for help today.
